The Encountering Perpetrators of Mass Killings, Political Violence and Genocide conference will be held at the University of Winchester from 1-3 September 2015.

Our keynote speaker is Professor Donald Bloxham (University of Edinburgh) on ‘Working on Perpetration: Do We Need to Justify It?’

The conference is organised by Dr Kara Critchell, Research Assistant in History, Centre for German-Jewish Studies, University of Sussex, and Dr Emiliano Perra, Senior Lecturer in Modern European History, University of Winchester under the aegis of the Modern History Research Centre at the University of Winchester.

The conference has received generous funding from the British Association for Holocaust Studies BAHS
